OUR AWESOME TEAM

BRITTANY MARKS, DPT
Brittany graduated from University of Washington in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She then pursued her goal of becoming a Physical Therapist by attending University of Southern California and graduated in 2012 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. After graduating, she ultimately moved to Ellensburg, Washington, for her husband’s career but moved back home to South Whidbey in 2018 when she joined the CPT Team.
Brittany became interested in Physical Therapy after her time working in high school as a student athletic trainer and PT Aide on South Whidbey. Her primary goal is to improve the quality of life for her patients by decreasing pain and restoring function. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

VOREE SMITH, MPT
Voree hails from Burlington and has spent his entire professional career in Skagit and Island County. He graduated with a Masters degree from Loma Linda University in 2000 and moved back to his home town to start his career. In 2005, he and his associate, Greg Fritz started Burlington Physical Therapy. He decided to go solo with Burlington PT from 2008 until 2022, when Dr. Fritz retired and passed Voree the torch of his three practices, Anacortes PT, Oak Harbor PT, and Coupeville PT. Voree currently splits his time between the 4 practices.
Voree’s family and the outdoors are his primary motivators. He loves helping people help themselves return to what they love to do. Whether that is quilting or ultra-running the Big Foot 200, Voree wants his clients returning to their pre-injury level, and building upon that level if they are motivated to do so. His goal is to help you NOT need to come back to PT because you are so knowledgeable of your body that you will have learned to control dysfunction on your own.
When not working, Voree likes to spend time with his family in the great outdoors, cycling (preferably off-road), racing MTBs both XC and enduro, hiking, trail running, camping and enjoying the best that mother nature offers here in Washington state.
